Michele worked as production coordinator for a national magazine in New York before moving to South Korea where she taught English at a state school, private academy and medical university. In 2015 she moved to the UK where she continues to teach, specialising in Academic and Specialised English with a focus on writing. She enjoys spending her free time reading, cooking and gardening. Michele holds a degree in English from the City University of New York, as well as an MA in TESOL from the University of Sunderland.
